Are you heading out on a cycling adventure during this Easter break? Have you decided what cycling route in Cheltenham to take? We’ve compiled our top three Easter cycling routes for the whole family to enjoy:
- Pedal for Steam: Cycle direct from The Bicycle Hub along the delightful Honeybourne Line. When you reach the end, pick up the cycle track at Pittville and pass the glorious Pump Rooms and the famous Cheltenham Racecourse until you reach the GWR Steam Railway. From here you could catch a ride on a steam train (with your bike) up to the Cotswold villages of Winchcombe or Toddington. Why not hop off at these stops and explore the local area or grab a bite to eat before getting back on the steam train or cycling back into Cheltenham?
- City Cycling: Explore Cheltenham a little differently by bicycle this Easter weekend. Cycle into the city from our bicycle hire and repair unit at the Cheltenham Spa Railway Station, through Imperial Square Gardens and continue through to Pittville Park where you can enjoy a delightful picnic.
- Head to Tewkesbury: Cycle from Cheltenham to the delightful town of Tewkesbury, enjoy the stunning surrounding countryside, historical buildings and even pay a visit to the wonderful Tewkesbury Abbey.
