Police in Gloucester seize lorry and recover 37 stolen bikes

The bikes were recovered from the suspicious vehicle at around 3:30pm on Tuesday 10th November after a member of the public reported the incident.

On entering the lorry in Clement Street Gloucester, the Police were staggered to find 37 suspected stolen bicycles of various shapes and sizes.

Two men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of handling stolen goods in connection with the incident and have been bailed until Thursday 10th December.

In order to ascertain the owners of the seized bikes, Gloucestershire Constabulary have released images to the public.

The police have asked that if anyone recognises one of the bikes to contact them by calling 101, quoting incident 311 of Tuesday 10 November.
