The Tour of Britain is well and truly underway with professional cyclists all over the country taking part in the gruelling 8 Stage event.

The nationwide event started on Sunday 2nd September and stages have been taking place all week and will do until Sunday 9th September. Stages this year include:

• Stage 1: Pembrey Country Park - Newport
• Stage 2: Cranbrook - Barnstaple
• Stage 3: Bristol
• Stage 4: Nuneaton - Royal Leamington Spa
• Stage 5: Cockermouth - Whinlatter TTT
• Stage 6: Barrow - Whinlatter
• Stage 7: West Bridgford - Mansfield
• Stage 8: The London Stage

We can't believe that it has almost been a year since we took part in the Cheltenham Festival of Cycling on Saturday 9th September to welcome the penultimate stage of the Tour of Britain to our town. We had a fantastic day and it was great to see so many visitors enjoying the cycling atmosphere!
