Tour of Britain Celebration

The Tour of Britain is well and truly underway and people are getting involved all over the country to celebrate the popular cycling event. Many businesses located along the routes have got involved by creating cycling themed events including a cycle art trail in the Forest of Dean to welcome the cyclists throughout the tournament.

The event which is being broadcast live every day on ITV, consists of eight stages and started in the Scottish City of Glasgow on Sunday 4th September and will finish in London on Sunday 11th September.

Not only has this event brought communities together by focusing on themed events and projects, it also provides a mass of inspiration to those who are looking to get into the saddle and we have already experienced a rise in people looking to hire bikes.

If you have been inspired by the Tour of Britain event and want to introduce cycling into your daily routine, pop down to the station and take a look at our range of pre-owned bicycles for sale or our fleet of hire bikes. Our bike specialists will be able to help you find the right size bike and / or fix any niggly bits you may have on your bike.
